Scrambled Eggs a la Ruakaka

Our very first eggs from our school’s chooks, and what eggcitement! Our chooks have done us proud! Thank you girls.

Room 5’s intrepid chefs Cameron, Ezekiel and Tamati (with a little assistance from Nolan), whipped up a creamy, mouth-watering treat for their morning tea – ‘Scrambled Eggs a la Ruakaka’… mmmmmm!

“I made scrambled eggs at school and they tasted delicious. We ate the scrambled eggs on a plate,” said Ezekiel.

“It was fun when we were making the scrambled eggs. They were yummy. I wasn’t hungry for the rest of the day, and I thought I was going to pop!” confided Cameron.

Nolan Keith, our wonderful teacher aide, “…really enjoyed showing the boys how to collect the eggs and make scrambled eggs. They took some to Mrs Dunn and it passed the taste test.”

Keep us posted boys. You are doing an amazing job of taking care of our chickens.
