On the 19th of March, Northland had a terrifying storm. Roads were flooded and closed. People were told to stay indoors and stay safe.
“It wasn’t that bad at our house,” explained Anna.
“It was really horrifying at my house,” exclaimed Taye
Some schools were closed. Trees and houses were damaged. River levels were getting higher and higher each minute. Later on in the day, river levels became lower and lower. The rain got lighter, and the lighter winds became softer and softer. The next day, lawns were muddy, branches were broken off trees and fences were broken.
