Bike Track Opened

On Friday 14 March 2014, we opened our new bike track. Stu Bell from Bikes in Schools has worked hard to get everything completed on time. Each classroom decorated a bike especially for the opening. We held a powhiri and the track was blessed. Mrs Dunn lead the children around for the first lap. Every child was able to have a ride. All children enjoyed a decorated wheel biscuit created by the enviro group. We were very lucky that the rough weather held off until later in the day.

The children are looking forward to getting out and riding on the track soon. Below are some photos of the day.
